Botanical-Based Fungicide

Timorex Pro is STK's new generation of the well-known Timorex Gold product. Timorex Pro is OMRI certified with improved environmental safety formulation for operators and wild beneficials including pollinators.

Timorex Pro provides an improved efficacy in various disease applications with preventative and curative activity including powdery mildews.
 
With its multiple modes of action, TIMOREX PRO is effective against a broad spectrum of fungal and bacterial plant diseases in a wide range of vegetable and fruit crops.
 
The active ingredient in TIMOREX PRO is based on the extract of the essential oil of tea tree plant (Melaluca alternifolia) containing more than 100 compounds, some of which work synergistically.

 

TIMOREX PRO is labeled for a wide variety of high value fruit and vegetable crops, including grapes, leafy vegetables, fruiting vegetables, berries, vines, tree nuts, and tropicals with superior activity against bud rot in Palm oil plants.

 

Modes of Action

 

Inhibits respiration and disrupts membrane permeability, and destructs sell wall of living organisms Disruption of the fungal cell membrane and destruction of the cell walls result in lower levels of fungal hyphae within the intercellular space of the mesophyll tissue followed by the leakage of cytoplasm, which ultimately causes the death of fungal cells.

 

In addition, Timorex Gold was found to be an activator of host defense mechanisms and systemically induced resistance in plants.

It enhanced pathogenesis related (PR) proteins and expression of marker genes for systemic acquired resistance and induced systemic resistance and primes plants to maximize biological defenses or defenses mechanisms and improving plant health.
 
With these unique MOA’s resulted in a new FRAC code (BM 01 Biological Multiple) making it an ideal partner in resistance management.
 

It can also be used bysoil application via indirect effect due to its defense mechanisms activities for vascular diseases in woody plants and fruit crops such as dieback disease in avocado, greening in citrus and various Fusarium rot.

This unique MOA resulted in a new FRAC code BM 01 making it an ideal partner in resistance management.
