Was Present At Expo Agrofuturo 2014
October 2014 – Stockton Colombia S.A.S., a member of the Stockton Group, a leader in plant extract based crop protection innovation, was present at Expo 2014 Agrofuturo, one of the most important agricultural fairs which took place during September 2014 in the city of Medellin in Colombia.
During the event hundreds of farmers had the opportunity to visit and learn the benefits of Timorex Gold, a natural product with excellent results in disease control in organic and conventional crops and an excellent tool in Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Key industry leaders, representatives and farmers from different sectors of agricultural production, such as: potatoes, avocado, purple passion fruit, vegetables, flowers, rice, banana and plantain snuff expressed their interest in using natural products like Timorex Gold.
“Our commitment in Stockton Colombia will be to monitor these requirements and facilitate access to this product to the persons who are interested in this product,” explained Jose Estevez, General Manager of Stockton Colombia S.A.S. “We found that green products are being more accepted and the demand is increasing. Our sales and technical team managed interviews with ecologically conscious consumers in various agro-related sectors. ”
Today Timorex Gold is used worldwide in bananas, flowers, tomatoes, onions, rice, strawberries, grapes, fruit pit and many more worldwide and in Colombia has registration roses, rice, onions, bananas and Solanaceae for controlling diseases such as Botrytis, fusarium, Rhizoctomia Stained grains, Alternaria and powdery mildew. Every day Timorex Gold is positioning in the minds of farmers as an effective and necessary tool in disease control.
